I seek out atmospheres where people are at the center and success is a result of that.
Work Experience
Technology Lab
Sales Director
September 2022 – Present
Technology Lab is one of the top 400 managed services providers in the world. As a sales director, I manage and control the sales efforts for the state of Georgia and the east coast of Florida. Both markets were very successful for the business, specifically after selling a multi-year multi-million dollar contract within the first six months of employment. Technology Lab has a phenomenal reputation in its vertical, and I enjoy fostering and improving that reputation. In this role, I led collaborations with market ambassadors and marketing stakeholders to grow market presence. My main function is executing direct outbound sales efforts while managing the sales cycle from start to finish. Throughout my time at Technology Lab I have exceeded quota.
WellAIr
Western Region Business Development Manager
September 2021-September 2022
WellAir is a sales and researched-focused indoor air quality company. With industry-leading air purification products I managed the new business efforts for our contractor loyalty program for the western region. This included educating contractors on how to differentiate themselves in market through a small tweak to their go-to-market strategy. This industry was extremely competitive and I was successful in helping these contractors improve their close rate and profitability by including my products. During my time at WellAir I satisfied quota and hit revenue target requirements.
DI Pathways embodied a vibrant and innovative energy startup that sold never-before-seen energy-saving products. I implemented strategies to boost sales to our target market: commercial real estate owners, property managers, and business owners alike. These strategies included channel partner sales, SEO marketing, and nationwide partnerships with many Fortune 500 businesses. These strategies were successful in selling multi-million dollar contract value, building a channel with more than thirty partners, and executing more accurate savings predictions.
Blue Equinox
Senior Sales Consultant
Jan. 2015-Oct. 2018
Blue Equinox was a trailblazer in “sales as a service” for small IT companies. It was an environment where new salespeople were equipped and thrown into prospecting very early. I rose to the top of this class after moving through the 6-month internship in 2 months. I then began prospecting IT companies in the Portland market where I managed that market. We successfully landed five partners and Portland quickly became one of the top-performing markets for Blue Equinox. We had continued success in providing cutting-edge IT solutions for small to medium-sized businesses.
Bandon Dunes
Experience Specialist
May 2015-Oct 2015
Bandon Dunes is one of the top golf resorts in the world. Their requirement and expectation when working there was second to none. During my short time caddying at the resort, fulfilling one of my lifetime desires, I learned so much about how to relate to people and give them the most pleasurable experience possible. Being around so many like minded people taught me the importance of teamwork and driving towards the same goal.
Purple Guys
Internship: Account Executive
Jan. 2015-May 2015
The Purple Guys led Kansas City in small business IT Support. In partnership with Blue Equinox, The Purple Guys was the first IT business that I sold services for. Selling their existing managed IT services as well as bolting on phone, internet and cloud services I successfully met quota and increased revenue in key categories.
GeoTK
Driver / Forklift Operator
June 2008 – Aug. 2014
GeoTK was the perfect family business opportunity that instilled the value of hard work, accountability and love for business. The grit and spontaneity that occurred in this atmosphere day in and day out continues to drive my personal passion for success and superior company culture.
Orchard Hills Golf Club
Pro Shop Attendant
June 2005 – Dec. 2016
I started my career at Orchard Hills Golf Club (OHGCC) at 12 years old. Starting in outside service – washing carts and picking range balls, then moving into the pro shop and helping with inventory and sales and finally, my favorite role was orchestrating tournament events at a higher level. I was most proud of running the long drive event at Orchard Hills. It will always be one of the best times of my life and I still look back on the key customer service skills I learned during that time.
Education
William Jewell College
BA-Business Admin
Aug. 2011 – May 2015
William Jewell College offered me a scholarship to play golf after completing high school. Moving to Kansas City to start school being the only student from Washington State was a unique experience but it led to a fantastic education and memorable golf tournaments. The most valuable aspect of my education at Jewell was the critical thought and inquiry program. Each semester we were required to take one class focused on critical thought and inquiry which continually proves to positively impact my decision making process.
